Role and Importance of Mosque in Islam and the Muslim Community

In Islam, mosques are not simply places of worship. The Mosque of the Prophet (PBUH) in Madina was a "group place" that is loaded with a wide range of exercises. And the same was the condition with his governing officers in the suburbs. They had gatherings where they performed the prayers and political affair" ( Al-Fatawa, volume 35 page 39).

Importance of Mosque at the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):

 Our beloved Holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to meet the envoys, consent to arrangements, judge between debating gatherings et cetera.
